It is with deep respect, a strong sense of duty, and unwavering optimism that  I, Hon. J. J. Opondo, proudly extend my full endorsement and support for the Third Edition of the Global Leadership Investment & Peace Summit Awards (GLIPSA 2026) to be held in.Houston, Texas, USA. As Principal Partner of African Peace Advocates in Kampala and incoming Grand Patron of UNIPGC, I recognize the immense significance of this global platform. 

The GLIPSA Summit stands as a crucial beacon of unity, dialogue, and action—bridging governments, the  industries, thought leaders, and peace advocates from Africa, the United States, and across the world. The summit’s commitment to advancing sustainable development, peace, investment, youth empowerment, and international cooperation aligns with our collective vision for a more equitable and prosperous world.

 3rd Edition theme—"Peaceful Coexistence and Synergy for Global Development: Charting the Golden Age of US-Africa Trade Relations"—could not be more timely or urgent. As the world navigates economic realignments and sociopolitical transformations, GLIPSA provides a historic opportunity to build partnerships that will shape the future of our continents for generations to come. 

I commend the leadership of H.E. Amb. Dr. Jonathan Ojadah, Global President of UNIPGC, Dr Lorna Williams and the strategic collaboration between UNIPGC and the Africa International Chamber of Commerce and Industry (AICCI) for their vision and tireless efforts in making this summit a reality. The inclusion of new policy dialogues, investment platforms, and peace advocacy—alongside a renewed focus on youth, women, and grassroots development—demonstrates a holistic and forward-thinking approach.

I therefore call upon all governments, international organizations, private sector leaders, civil society stakeholders, and peace ambassadors to actively participate, contribute, and champion this event. Your engagement in GLIPSA 2026 is not only an investment in economic prosperity but also in global peace and human dignity.
